I'm in Austin, and I'm not looking forward to this weekend because I have to drive to Abilene on Friday afternoon, and home on Sunday morning. It's going to suck.

Lol, it's winter in TX, this is pretty much just par for the course. It's supposed to do the same stuff here in Houston, actually it's supposed to be a bit colder than that.

They are very discernible around here. With 100+ heat in the summer and lows nearing -25/-30 in the winter its pretty easy to tell what time of the year it is.

Living down here sure warps your mind as to driving time/ distance. Like the time I thought it was a great idea to do San Antonio-Denton and back in one trip (12 hours with traffic).

...Is very nice, actually. We're averaging 60-65F this week, and this past summer, the temp rarely got above 90F.

It's 6 degrees here in Anchorage. And that's warm as shit for the way it's been. Most of the time we can't get a positive number.

Well, when you enter Texas from the east on I-10 and the sign says 850 miles to El Paso, you know you're in for it. From Austin, unless you're going to SA, you have to plan for at least 4 hours to get anywhere. And that's usually without traffic.
